A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a reported robbery at a convenience store in Ashford last week police say.

The incident happened at the One Stop shop in Beaver Lane at about 10.30pm on Wednesday 19th April

It was reported that hundreds of pounds was stolen from the till after two men entered the store with their faces covered.

Reuben Garland, 23, of no fixed address, was arrested the following day and has subsequently been charged with robb ... read more
